Computer Music 2.0 will teach participants how to use instrumental and vocal techniques to create an original song through web-based applications. Using the BandLab platform along with a few others, participants will learn about digital audio workstations while also exploring the art of sound design inspired by their school community. Each participant will add an original piece to a class curated playlist and share it on a music streaming service as a final project. Participants will leave this workshop series with a greater understanding of the creative aspects and economics of electronic music production.
