Learn music production and the fundamentals of DJing with Alumni Music Resident stud1nt. Sets mixed in class can be submitted for the After Party portion of our monthly Separate Sundays radio show.
Date: This one-time online workshop meets on Wednesday, November 18 from 6:30-8PM ET. (Additional sessions will be available on Wednesday, December 16 and Wednesday, January 20. Each session requires individual registration.)

Izzy Ocampo is a producer, synthesist, and educator aka stud1nt from Queens, New York. Co-founder of Signal Flux and a member of Discwoman, they have taught classes and workshops at Moogfest, Ableton Loop, Pioneer Works, The New School, and Synth Library Prague. They are an Ableton Certified Trainer. Previously, they managed operations for a Brooklyn-based eurorack company before co-founding Signal Flux. Their work has been featured in the New Yorker, Resident Advisor, Pitchfork, and The Fader.
Signal Flux aims to expand access to and literacy about sound / video art and technology through inclusive, student-centered collaborative workshops, individualized one-on-one tutorials and curricula, and engaging public event programming. We hope to catalyze passion for the sonic and visual, whether they be newfound interests or enduring practices.
Please note, this online workshop will begin promptly at the listed start time. In order to ensure the quality of instruction for all participants, late entry will not be permitted.
